2024: From Me to Us
The reproductive and maternal mental health world is under a lot of strain right now. It was always a field that was short on supply and high on demand, but lately it feels like that imbalance is only growing. I’ve traveled nationally and globally, speaking to professionals, connecting with communities, and I keep hearing the same message: Barriers (and burnout) are preventing people from getting the services they need.
I’ve always sought to fill a gap in reproductive and maternal mental health, and in 2024 that means one of my biggest transformations of all: I’ll soon be doing business as the Perinatal Reproductive Wellness Group. That means bringing on board more clinicians, a prescriber, a yogi and more, in order to increase capacity and expand our offerings beyond what I could do as a solo practitioner.
So when you see the new branding that’s coming down the pike, please help us celebrate our new and improved look, and know that it represents a step forward in my personal mission.
Our 2024 calendar will be full of travel to continue to connect with the larger community, learn about cutting-edge topics and share my professional insights as a presenter.
Highlights include:
March: Speaking at the Maternal Mental Health Summit in Albuquerque, New Mexico and connecting with providers in northern New Mexico.
July: Attending the Postpartum Support International conference in Washington D.C. as a provider, alongside my team
October: Attending the 19th World Congress on Menopause in Melbourne, Australia
This is a year of We and Us. As the rebranding and expansion unfolds, we’re going to be continuing in the same vein as always. The trip to New Mexico isn’t a marketing venture; it’s to contribute to the summit as a speaker and to reconnect with the community that we haven't seen in a year.
The space of reproductive and maternal health is facing increased challenges and increased need. We’re here to support our fellow practitioners and to develop a community that we hope only keeps growing.
